Knight and Mage Backgrounds

Here are a few backgrounds that I've done for my scene of the film. Due to time constraints I've had to make them very simple, and if I've the time I'd like to add more detail to them.

Pixel Backgrounds

Here are the backgrounds that the pixel characters will walk around in. They took a long time to do but I really like them and I think that they'll look great in the final film.

Sprites

These are the sprites that are going to be used in two sequences of film. Along with my co-director, we really want them to look and move like the sprites in old video games would.

BDFF WIPS

I have an embarrassing obsession with Bravely Default, and a lot of unfinished fanart for it. I honestly just want to spend the rest of my life drawing these four dorks. And once uni is over, that's exactly what I'm going to spend my summer doing.

Ultimate Image

For Business Studies I had to create an 'Ultimate Image', an example of my work and what I am as an artist. I was pretty lost for idea as I didn't really want to draw myself, so instead I drew a character of mine in an illustration. I'm not really sure how I feel about this, but I'm sure any disdain I do hold towards it probably has more to do with the fact that my laptop crashed after hours of work and I essentially had to draw the entire thing again. My own fault for not saving enough I guess.

Business Card Design

This is the design I chose to go with for my business card, without the text. I've been well and truly enchanted by Bravely Default since about Christmas which kinda shows in the character design. I also may have subconsciously stolen Elsa's colour scheme... sorry Disney.

Blip Boop

I really like making sprites that look like they came out of an old video game. These might be making an appearance in the end of year film I'm making with my buddy Mel Wah.

Kill la Kill is probably my favourite anime of all time and episode 18 was such a rollercoaster ride that I really had to do some fanart for it.

DORK SHAMANS

Shaman King Flowers is a pretty fun manga. Everyone is such a dork in it. Probably never going to actually get around to finishing this sketch but I kinda like it.
